Writing poetry, like acting, is an artistic passion of mine.

I love the challenge of focusing all of my creative juices onto a single static medium, a blank page.

Unlike acting in a film, there’s no creative team to rely on. No sweeping shots or special effects. No swelling orchestrated score. A sparse group of words are my sole tools to convey all the expression, all the feeling, and all the nuance of a subject to the reader. The sheer simplicity is beautiful.

I suppose that’s what draws me back to the blank page.
